SendCam

Privacy Policy

Effective September 8, 2026

SendCam is designed as a local camera utility for capturing photos and videos that you intend to review, send, save, or clear.

Captures

Photos and videos captured in SendCam are held locally on your device as part of an unresolved temporary session. SendCam does not add those captures to your Photos library unless you choose to save them there.

Temporary session persistence

An unresolved session may remain available locally if you leave SendCam, lock your iPhone, or close and later reopen the app. Captures remain associated with that session until you explicitly resolve or terminate it, subject to normal device and operating-system behavior.

Sharing

When you choose to share, SendCam uses Apple’s standard iOS share sheet. The app or service you select to receive a capture may process that content under its own privacy practices. SendCam does not control those third-party services.

Permissions

SendCam may request Camera access for capture, Microphone access for recording video with sound, and permission to add captures to Photos when you choose Save to Photos. You can manage these permissions in iPhone Settings.

Purchases

SendCam Full is purchased through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Apple processes the transaction. SendCam uses StoreKit entitlement information to determine whether SendCam Full is unlocked and does not receive your payment-card details.

Accounts, advertising, and tracking

SendCam does not require a SendCam account for its current functionality. The current app is not designed around advertising or cross-app tracking.

Data collection

For the current SendCam 1.0 functionality described here, SendCam does not operate a server for uploading or storing your temporary captures. If future versions introduce new data practices, this policy will be updated accordingly.
